GORDON ALLEN
A very popular Devon based artist. Self taught, he paints many subjects particularly harbours and seascapes. He paints very detailed work mainly in acrylics.
JOHN BAMPFIELD
Moved to Cornwall in the early seventies and his palette knife paintings of boats and wet Victorian streets have always been popular. He has painted for this gallery for many years, is a published artist, and now is widely known.
NORMAN BLACK
Painted money of pre-decimal times exclusively for this gallery. People now ask for paintings that include a date on a coin relating to a birth year, making a very special 40th, 50th or 60th birthday gift.
RICHARD BLOWEY
Lives and works in Cornwall, painting the Cornish sea and landscape, a strong feature being his dramatic skies. A very talented artist who paints many subjects so well.

Very well established, known for his superb quality seascapes of the Southwest coast. He also occasionally paints snowscenes that are now much sought after due to the publication of high quality Christmas cards.
DELON/DON HUGHES
He enjoys recreating Cornish smuggling and wrecking scenes in a dark atmospheric style. Also paints harbours with galleons at low tide. Under the name Don Hughes he paints impressionist style in bright vivid colours.
JULIE DOLTON
A young artist whose love of animals comes through in her work. She specialises in painting shire horses. Currently at the start of her career we feel she has great potential.
DAVID'OWENS`DYER
Cornish born and bred, he enjoys painting local coastal and inland scenes often by moonlight in soft pinks and blues.
TED DYER
Has lived and worked in Cornwall since 1970.His subjects have included harbours, landscape, superb still life and naval engagements. Many of his works have been published. In recent years he has become very well known, and his work now commands high prices.
DOREEN EDMOND
With many publications to her name, she paints animated teddy bears. Her paintings have been called 'Happy Pictures’ and are still at reasonable prices.
BILL HADLEY
A versatile artist paints with a palette knife, giving a heavy textured effect as in his military and wrecking scenes, but can also paint more detailed work such as old farm buildings, harbours and elephants.
TERRY HEATH
A very popular artist painting traditional English cottages. He paints bright, sunny pictures sometimes with children playing nearby. Every painting features his trademark of at least one rabbit.
EDWARD HERSEY
A published artist, now very collectable, paints in great detail, usually farm animals or derelict buildings.
BARRY HILTON
Paints galleons moored in safe harbour at night with lights glowing, in muted tones of greys, browns and golds. He also paints more brightly coloured street scenes.
KATY HUGHES
Paints detailed flowers on panel using a soft glow effect behind the subject to make them stand out.
LARRY JOHNS
A Cornishman who specialises in painting local seascapes. He is very good at capturing the atmosphere of a stormy day out at sea as well as calmer waters lapping the beach.

An outstanding internationally known artist whose work is very collectable. Her subjects include still life, old-fashioned shops, teddy bears, spooky rooms-very distinctive paintings. She regularly has work taken into print.
LEONARD KINGWOOD
Paints street scenes in an unusual style 24"x8"using blues, black and greys with dabs of colour-an easily recognisable style.
MARIANNE McLACHLAN
Paints wild flowers as if just picked in a bunch, very delicate work on panel.
